Qualified Mental Health Professional-Adult (QMHP-A):

  • Qualified Mental Health Professional-Adult (QMHP-A): A QMHP-A is a trained and experienced professional working in the mental health field, specifically with adults. They possess the skills to provide psychiatric or mental health services and are often involved in assessments, case management, crisis intervention, and the development of treatment plans. QMHP-As play a crucial role in supporting individuals with mental health challenges to enhance their overall well-being.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a human service field or special education from an accredited college.

  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience, including internships, practicums, or field experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in providing direct services to individuals with mental health challenges.

  • Knowledge of therapeutic interventions, crisis intervention, and case management skills.

  • Certification in First Aid and CPR.

  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adhere to clinical documentation requirements.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW):

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW): An LCSW is a highly qualified mental health professional with a master's or doctoral degree in social work and is licensed to practice clinical social work. LCSWs are trained to diagnose and treat mental health issues through therapeutic interventions. They often work with individuals, families, and groups, providing counseling, advocacy, and support. LCSWs have advanced clinical training and are licensed to independently practice psychotherapy.

  • Master's or doctoral degree in social work from an accredited institution.

  • State licensure as a Clinical Social Worker.
